Here are some quick milestones:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sydney is a gregarious 2 year old (26 months) and continues to bring joy and humor to our lives<\/li>\n<li>I have 2 new nieces, both born late this year:\n<ul>\n<li>Greenley (b. Oct 16) is April&#8217;s third child<\/li>\n<li>Caroline (b. December 26) is Nathan&#8217;s second<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>I completed my doctoral research and studies at TU (in May 2012) and now have a PhD in Computer Science, Bioinformatics focus<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;ve accepted a position as Assistant Professor of Research at the University of Oklahoma <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ou.edu\/content\/tulsa\/community_medicine.html\" title=\"School of Community Medicine\">School of Community Medicine<\/a>, and have been working as Data Scientist at <a href=\"http:\/\/myhealthaccess.net\">MyHealth Access Network<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Actually, it&#8217;s been slightly over 2 years, but who&#8217;s counting?
